Dog's Trust
Hope everyone got what they wanted in the Dogstrust ebay sale of John's clothes. It seemed to go really well. and made loads of money for the dogs. Hopefully John will be chuffed.

Chicago Comic Con (C2E2)
John recently attended C2E2 in Chicago (14 - 15 April 2012) where he signed autographs and conducted a panel. There are lots of photos and videos floating around on the internet, but these 3 appear to be about the best of them (apart from the incredibly irritating title sequence) and cover the whole panel in 3 parts.

Ebay - Dog's Trust

Cowbridge Dog's Trust
John donated some of his clothes and other items to the Dog's Trust Charity Shop in Cowbridge where they were sold on 31 March 2012. Remaining items and a few special items which were held back will be on ebay soon (anticipated Saturday 7 April according to the shop) So far just with the Saturday sales, they made £2000 for the dogs. @dt_bridgend
The Greatest Show in the Galaxy
John will be appearing at this new signing event which is to be held at the Peterborough Showground on 12 & 13 May 2012. Also due to attend are the original Torchwood cast members Burn Gorman, Gareth David-Lloyd, Kai Owen, Naoko Mori and Eve Myles.

Pilot TV Show - Gilded Lilys
John has been cast as Julius Lily in a pilot series called Gilded Lily's for ABC network in the USA. He tweeted today that he was flying out to Boston for about a month to begin filming the pilot. My understanding is that the pilot probably won't air unless it is picked up for a series so good luck John! It is apparently a period drama (USA's answer to Downton Abbey) and features a family who are trying to become big hotel owners in New York. John plays the playboy eldest son, so no typecasting there then. More information at the linkls below:-

All About Me
John recorded a pilot of a new TV show All About Me on Thursday 9 February 2012. Sadly it will not air on TV but it was very funny so hopefully will be commissioned & will maybe have John back as a "proper" host. The premise for the show is that 2 panels of 3 people answer questions about the host's life & career. Obviously there wold be a different host each week. A couple of people have done reports. Hollow Earth
John & Carole Barrowman's Children's novel Hollow Earth is riding high in the Amazon book charts at one point it was number 1 in the Children's Science Fiction & Fantasy category & now sits at a very healthy number 11. Its at number 31 of all children's books on Amazon. Well done John & Carole.

TV Pilot - All About Me - Tickets
Audience ticket applications are being invited for the pilot of a new show called All About Me. John is hosting the pilot but I believe if the show is picked up it will be a different host per episode as the concept is that it is a quiz show and the panel answer questions about the host.

Dallas Documentary
John has been in Dallas filming a documentary about Dallas for Channel 5 in the UK. He was caught on camera doing the "tush push" line dance at the Roundhouse. This can be seen on youtube. I'm not sure he can dance but he's definitely a good little mover!

National Television Awards
John is included in the National television Awards shortlist for 2012 for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood Miracle Day. He is nominated in the category Best Dramatic Performance. You can vote for him wherever you are in the world from now until 25 January 2012

The Story of Musicals
Apparently John will appear in new 3-part series The Story of Musicals which starts on Tuesday, 3 January on BBC4 at 9.00pm. No news as to what form or how big his appearance will be but if you like musicals its likely to be an interesting show worth a look anyway.
